At Americana Community Center, our Adult & Family Services are designed to support the whole family as they build stability, confidence, and connection. From education and workforce support to family resources and community navigation, our programs meet people where they are and walk alongside them as they work toward their goals. Rooted in dignity, cultural responsiveness, and mutual respect, we are proud to serve adults and families from many backgrounds as they bridge the gap from surviving to thriving.

Vita Tax Services
Starting February 3rd, we will be accepting appointments for free tax filing services. To sign up, please call us at 502-366-7813, or visit our main office during business hours.
Appointment Times: Tuesdays | 5:30 - 8:30 pm • Saturdays | 10 am - 4 pm
If you have an appointment with VITA Tax Services at Americana, please remeber to bring a photo I.D., your W-2's, and any other forms relevant to your filing situation.
The Choice Pantry
The Choice Pantry is Americana's open pantry where community members can get food, toiletry items and diapers for their infants and small children.
The pantry opens once a month and requires an appointment.
St. Bernadette Diaper Bank
Next Distribution Day:
Friday, August 28
On the 2nd Friday of every month, we distribute diapers and other toiletry items from our Choice Pantry.
If you are in need of these items, please contact our main office, or visit us on our next distribution date.

Closures: Americana follows the JCPS school calendar. If JCPS schools are closed or classes are canceled, programming at Americana will not take place that day.
