The Power of Us:
 A Collaborative Give For Good Happy Hour Event

Americana Community Center and Kentucky Refugee Ministries are proud to co-host The Power of Us, a collaborative Give For Good Louisville Happy Hour on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 4-8PM EDT! This special two-part event celebrates the strength of community partnerships and highlights the essential work being done for immigrants and refugees across Louisville.

Why It Matters
This year, Give For Good Louisville takes place during Welcoming Week, a national celebration that brings together neighbors of all backgrounds to build strong connections and affirm the importance of inclusive communities. In this spirit, The Power of Us shines a light on the vital work of Louisville nonprofits standing with immigrant and refugee communities every day.
By coming together, we amplify their impact and celebrate the strength of collective giving. Your support during Give For Good Louisville makes a difference—but more than anything, we value your presence. Showing up and standing together in solidarity for newcomers is important for all of us. This free event is open to all, and we invite you to join us for connection, collaboration, and celebration of a truly welcoming community.

Support Americana On Kentucky's Largest Online Day of Giving

Give for Good Louisville isn't just a day for online donations; it's a powerful movement of kindness that unites communities to give for the greater good. Since its inception in 2014, this event has raised over $60 million for local organizations across Kentucky and Southern Indiana, Americana included.
