We collaborate with Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) to offer adult education programs that help individuals enhance their literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills. Whether you're looking to complete your high school education or develop foundational skills for career advancement, our adult education courses are designed to support your personal growth and success.

Citizenship Class — Administered by Kentucky Refugee Ministries

To offer support throughout the citizenship preparation process, KRM citizenship classes assist applicants with learning U.S. civics and practicing the oral interviews. Citizenship preparation classes are open to the community.

We offer free tax preparation for qualifying families. Appointments are on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Americana World Community Center currently staffs two Clinical Psychology Doctoral Students from Spalding University. Our highly trained doctoral student clinicians work with children, adolescents, and adults under the direct supervision of licensed psychologists. They address the individualized goals of those seeking support through psychological assessments and one-on-one, group, couple, or family therapy. This means that if you or your children are struggling with sadness, worries, learning difficulties, attention problems, or any other life struggles, a free counseling program is here to support you.
